WHAT IS CPL ( CUTTING PANEL LAUNDRY)??
Cut panel laundry (CPL) process is used in knitted garment manufacturing. Mostly, locally processed (wet process, dyeing process) fabrics are not set correctly in its dimension. As a result when a garment is stitched without setting shrinkage completely, the garment gets twisted, shrinkage occurs in length and width of the garment after washing. To get rid of such issues the factory needs to improve dimensional stability of fabric. Cut panel laundry process is one way to add pre-shrinkage to jersey, ribs and fleece fabrics.
CHANGES IN CUSTOMERS EXPERIENCE DUE TO CPL ??
It is very difficult for every customer to wash every garment separately as every garment behaves differently after wash, so for curing we need to provide to customers garments which are pre-shrunk, customers can wash all garments easily anyway all together.
Customers can order in correct accordance with their size as still today many customers have to buy one size larger due to not knowing the after wash behaviour of the garment but if the garment is pre-shrunk, customers can order freely.
Many garments after only one wash become so uncozy to wear bcoz of poor quality of fabric ,
but if garment is gone through CPL its but obvious that fabric quality is good.
